Our Mission
Fremont100 is a grassroots volunteer climate action organization that seeks to reduce global Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions to net zero by 2040, or 5% reduction per year, through a combination of advocacy, education and campaigns at the local and global levels. We are a chapter of CURE100 (Communities United to Reduce Emissions 100%). We collaborate with other communities to take urgent climate action to stave off the worst effects of climate change.

Orelia Sinha, Vice chair
Orelia Sinha is currently a junior at Irvington High School in Fremont, California. She lived in New York for ten years before moving to Fremont, where meeting like-minded mentors and peers inspired her to pursue leadership positions she wouldn’t have otherwise considered. Passionate about nature, Orelia hopes to encourage youth to join the solution to climate change. She is interested in innovative clean energy solutions and educating adolescents in her community. In her free time, Orelia enjoys singing, creative writing, and playing the flute.
In her own words: “My friends and I joined CURE100 because carbon emissions and climate change remain a universal problem in which youth should participate. We’re excited to make Fremont a more carbon-free city and encourage education and understanding of these pressing global issues.”
Elizabeth An, Secretary
Elizabeth An is a junior at Irvington High School in Fremont California. Passionate about ensuring the beauty of nature stays for generations to come, Elizabeth hopes to help move towards this goal. She considers herself a very introverted person who likes to spend most of her time at home. In her free time she enjoys reading novels, hanging out with friends, watching TV shows and movies, and doing any sort of artistic crafts such as drawing. |
